Dave's Corner

For over 25 years, David Pratt has served in full time ministry in a variety of organizations.  Upon graduation from college, he went on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, traveling the country with their athletic ministry, called Athletes In Action.  Their focus was using sports as a platform in proclaiming Christ as Savior on college and high school campuses.  David then served as youth minister in various churches for several years until joining the staff of Youth for Christ in Kansas City.  As a club director for five years, he established bible clubs on school campuses, and served as sports director for the YFC summer camp ten weeks each summer.

David has served with other evangelistic organizations, but over the years has developed an ongoing speaking ministry at youth & adult camps, conferences, and churches.

He is often referred to as the “story teller” when speaking.  Using stories that surprise you, shock you, motivate you, and tickle your funny bone, he is a firm believer in using human experiences to communicate the gospel in order to anchor the truth of God’s Word in your heart and mind.  He & his wife, Pam, have also frequently spoken at youth & adult banquets using juggling, crazy stories, and skits to entertain audiences.

David has also served as a certified instructor of Walk Through The Bible, teaching the Old Testament seminar. 

Besides the speaking requests he receives and having a “tent making” job, Dave currently serves as quiz director of Word In Action, and also serves as a Quiz Master for Regional and National Bible Quiz tournaments.
